New Markets
During the past few years, and with the same strategy, Business Aviation Solutions also focused on developing its activities in Asia. The company is now the first European operator to have obtained a Chinese AOC, through its joint-venture with the Jinggong Aviation Group, one of the key-players in China. The first commercial flights should be performed by the end of summer.
“We now have two commercial representation offices in Asia: Beijing and Hong Kong. We have created Jinggong Aviation Global Jet Co, Ltd. This new entity is based in Hangzhou, employs nearly 30 people already and will be in charge of our future commercial Chinese flights”, explains Ninora Shepherd, Business Development Director Asia/Pacific.
“So far, Business Aviation Solutions are operating successfully 6 private aircraft in this part of the world: A Falcon 8X, a G650, a Falcon 7X, a Global Express, a Global 7000 and an Airbus ACJ319. Another Airbus ACJ319 should be entering our fleet very soon!”
New Aircraft
Since January, Business Aviation Solutions has welcomed great aircraft into its fleet, private and charter: A Global 8000, a commercial Challenger 605 based in Farnborough, a commercial Citation CJ4 based in Le Bourget.
Business Aviation Solutions has been selected to manage one of the first Gulfstream G650 on the market. It’s the first of its kind for Global Jet, but not the last as several projects will materialize in the near future.
One of the Global Expresses, 100% available for charter, went through extensive maintenance and was entirely refurbished. Its entertainment system is now brand-new and boasts the latest, state-of the art equipment from Honeywell. They installed their Ovation Cabin Management System which enhances the flying experience, offers improved efficiency, entertainment and comfort.
